Own is an an Amsterdam based digital rights think tank (KvK registration number 62697099) founded in 2014 by myself. Today Own has 12 people working part time.

At Own, we believe that you should own your data. Why?

Personal data recollection should be as easy as a click of a button. We want to build that button.

Legally, data requests from organisations are possible. Practically, it’s a lot of customer service.

We want to swamp customers service with personal data requests until they make the process easier.

But we need to make those requests on behalf of 1000 people. This is why we need YOU.

This is an invitation to be one of the first 1000 people to collect your data. Alone you can accomplish very little, but as a group we can go far.

Check out the Indiegogo preview page for more details: https://lnkd.in/eQNrCzD

This is step one of a larger vision which you can read about in the white paper on https://lnkd.in/e_eWSMT The first 1000 people will mark could pave the way to something much bigger. Your contribution and involvement will certainly not be forgotten.
