Lake swimmers warned of duck fleas
The move comes after a mother posted pictures of her children suffering a very itchy rash.
Duck fleas are the larvae of a parasite that can penetrate skin.
It’s recommended swimmers take a shower after swimming in a lake and then dry yourself vigorously.
The children are recovering and the itching should stop in the next few days.
