A cold front could bring snow to Switzerland this weekend

22/08/2018 BY LE NEWS LEAVE A COMMENT

While it might be difficult to believe when it’s over 30 degrees, snow is forecast to fall above 2,000 metres in Switzerland this weekend, according to meteonews.

High temperatures are expected to give way to high altitude snow from Friday as a cold front sweeps across Europe, according to the weather service.

This Sunday, Swiss Meteo, another weather service, is forecasting snow down to 2,000 metres in French-speaking Switzerland and down to an even lower 1,900 metres in German-speaking Switzerland.

These cooler temperature are likely to be short lived. Once the cold front has passed, high temperatures are expected to return.

Gladiator fights, theatre spectacles, chariot racing for families, dance performances and over 30 activities in which large and small alike can take part make this an unforgettable occasion. Bread and wine / drinks are served daily. This creates an encounter and exchange becomes possible – through a Reformation that unites today and a city that is coming closer.

From Wed, 29th August 2018 there will be daily noon talks from 12:15 to 12:45 pm with personalities from politics, education, business, art and church. An event within the framework of 500 years Reformation St.Gallen

Mystery Land in the JungfrauPark

At Mystery Land in the JungfrauPark, children play in a safe, friendly environment. Jumping, climbing, sliding is possible as well as quiet, concentrated painting or building.

Particularly popular is the drive on rubber islands through the moat in the indoor playground and the water playground in the outdoor area. Since it can also be really wet.

The pygmy goats are very curious, almost like the children who come to visit. Caressing and cuddling is allowed here. Boredom is guaranteed to none, playmates are always found.

A very special fun is the birthday party in the Mysty Land, the beautifully decorated birthday table, with free admission for the birthday child.
