This year it is sports and fun for young and old.

10.45 am: Openair Zumba lesson for kids

Exciting songs and cool moves – that’s Zumba, the successful sports movement from Latin America. The connection between sports and fun is the perfect pastime for children. Henau’s Studio Dance offers Zumba for children over 4 years old. Join the Zumba lesson for kids for free and see if the sport is for you too!

12 clock: Children’s concert with dad dad

Everything dada or what? Of course! In good old dada-style diverse topics from everyday life and school are packed in groovy songs. His new songs are as usual witty and cheeky. Sometimes a bit weird, sometimes serious, but always with a wink.

Musically, PAPA DADA is always able to surprise. For the first time electronic sounds sound on the new album; “Daydream” seduces with sugar sweet, spherical sounds into the land of dreams. “Giga-Gomi-Gompiball” comes in hip-hop dress and with fat beats and lets every child jump, just like a Gompiball.

In this sense: Do not be a frog, its a “giga gommi gompiball” and let the kids party begin.

And after the party, you can let off steam on the giant trampoline, or the bouncy castle, practice your skills on the goal wall, or the slackline course and try your luck with the giant dolphin loads and the XXL bottle game.

Also catering is provided. At the various food stalls is certainly something for everyone.

A great fun for the whole family!

Eye Contact Experiment in St Gallen on 20th September

We are like islands in the sea, seperate on the surface, but connected in the deep“ (William James)

We live in a society, where the differences between human beings are accentuated. But the truth is, that we all are the same, human beings with the wish to be happy and in connection to others. We are one unity.

Exactely this is the idea of the Eye Contact Experiment:

It is about exploring, experiencing and showing human connection while sharing one minute of eye contact with strangers in our city.

The Event is part of the „World’s biggest eye contact Experiment 2018 global event.

In the week of the international day of peace tenthousends of people in more than 300 cities all over the world do this experiment. For the second time also St .Gallen is part of this movement. Be there, be part of this experiment and statement!

What do you need for participation?

Courage, curiosity and something to sit on for you (and to invite someone to share 1 minute of eye contact)… e.g. blanket, cushion, chair…

Location of the Event?

citylounge/red place or citypark. In case of Rain at Macelleria D’ Arte at the red place. Mark this event with „participate or interested“ and you will be informed automatically by FB.

Cost?

Its for free. There will be a Box to support us with covering our expenses (approval of police for the event etc.). Thanks.

What time?

Event starts at 18.00 and will finish at 20.30. No matter what time you come and how long you stay.

Switzerland’s first bear sanctuary opens

A 30,000-square metre bear sanctuary has been officially opened in Arosa, southeast Switzerland, and will be open to the public over the weekend.

This is the first bear park in Switzerland designed specifically to protect the animals. It is to provide a sanctuary for bears who have been ill-treated or kept in captivity.
