Meeting new people can be difficult when you move abroad, without knowing anyone.
We sometimes tend to just stick to the people who work or study with us, but it can get overwhelming.
In St. Gallen there are different groups that help you mingle and find people that have similar interests.
- MeetUp Sankt Gallen is a group to meet people, and go to different events, on hikes, or just to have a coffee together.It is free to join.
- Facebook group MeetUp St Gallen same group, but on Facebook. Most of the events are posted in both MeetUp platform and Facebook page.
- InterNations is a group for Expats to meet others alike. The group meets once a month in a bar/restaurant. You can become a member with a free membership, or pay a little extra an see all the events the InterNation group organizers.
- St. Gallen Mums is a Facebook group for mums. Most mums are non-Swiss. It is a great help to settle in, as you can post questions and ask for suggestions.
